ARCFOX T1 Debuts: A Stylish New Compact EV Set for Late August Pre-Sales

August 8 – ARCFOX, the premium electric vehicle sub-brand under BAIC Group, unveiled its all-new compact model, the ARCFOX T1, today. Having already completed China’s MIIT certification process, the T1 is slated to open pre-orders in late August. As a fresh addition to ARCFOX’s lineup, the T1 aims to broaden consumer choices and boost the brand’s market presence.

Design: Youthful Dynamism Meets Refinement

The T1 adopts ARCFOX’s ARC-FLOW design language, featuring softer, more rounded contours compared to the brand’s current models, giving it a distinctly modern and youthful appeal. Notable exterior highlights include:

• A starlight-inspired full-width LED light bar and C-shaped air intakes on the bumper for a sporty stance.
• Flush-mounted door handles and glossy black window trim, enhancing its sleek profile.

• A tapered rear design with muscular haunches, complemented by intricate LED taillights and an integrated spoiler for added athleticism.

Interior: Smart and Space-Savvy

Inside, the T1 balances minimalist aesthetics with practicality:

• A two-tone dashboard with clean, horizontal lines and chrome accents for premium tactility.
• A 15.6-inch floating touchscreen, 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a dedicated smartphone tray in the center console.

• Clever storage solutions, including a drop-down compartment under the dashboard and multiple utility hooks throughout the cabin.

Specs & Powertrain

With dimensions of 4,337 mm (L) × 1,860 mm (W) × 1,572 mm (H) and a 2,770-mm wheelbase, the T1 prioritizes cabin space. Power comes from a 70 kW electric motor, paired with a LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery supplied by CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology Co.).
